The doners are amazing and generally available quick except for rush hours. I have tried most of the food here but it lacks heat. The scorching ones are not spicy hot. However, they are good for lunch and flavourful.

This is my go-to lunch spot in SLU for a quick and easy grab and go (albeit I do always order ahead prior to going). Their chicken berliner sandwich is my favorite and full of garlicky goodness. Beware that you will definitely smell of garlic after, so plan accordingly. Prices are fair at $10-11 per sandwich and pick up is easy. It's definitely a bit of a hole in the wall, but consistently good food and highly recommend checking out.

I've been here a few times and tried a few of their chicken sandwiches and I have finally found the sandwich I like! I like their house chicken sandwich due to the garlic sauce--I have found their fiery sauce a bit too sweet? And the more medium sauce too flavorless. The house chicken isn't spicy but I manage. But service is great. You order on iPads in the story, and they make the sandwich pretty much right away. I've never had to wait too long. There are also some outdoor seating areas that can be full during lunch hour, but there's plenty of places to eat outdoors around here. Definitely a local lunch spot for me!
Small counter service restaurant. Not really any seating (they have a couple small tables outside but thats it) so it's really meant for take out. I ordered a beef and lamb sandwich and a beef and lamb plate. Food was ready super quickly (under 5 min at 12:45pm on a weekday). When I came in to pick up, the two people working the counter were very friendly. The food is good especially for the price in this part of town. I think the best part was the bread: it was substantial enough not to disintegrate, but still soft and not tough at all. The meat was fine; it could be a little more flavorful but it wasn't bad. The portion of meat could be a little bigger, so if you're super hungry order double, but for the price I think it was fair.
